1891 After Philip Gibbons retired from Gibbons and Robinson, Arthur Samuel Frances Robinson continued the business
Presumably at or around this time Arthur Charles Auden became a partner.
1893 Portable steam engine featured in 'Old Glory' magazine July 2007, and advertised for sale by auction by Cheffins, 14th July 2007.
Incorporated as Robinson & Auden Ltd in 1894.
1894 Smithfield Club Show. Showed a vertical engine
1898 Single cylinder vertical steam engine driving dynamo, with Robinson & Auden's Expansion Governor, installed at the Southwark HQ of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade.[1] (see illustration).
In 1900 both Robinson and Auden sold their shareholdings to Lord Wantage, who reconstructed the firm as the Wantage Engineering Co.[2]
