1801 Birth at Rotherhithe of son Ebenezer Dewer - baptised at Mills Lane (Presbyterian)

1803 Birth at Rotherhithe of son Robert Dewer

1805 Birth of daughter Agnes - baptised at Mills Lane (Presbyterian)

1808 Mentioned. Mr. Dewer, Lucas Street, Rotherhithe.[1]

1814 Bankrupt. '...Commission of Bankrupt is awarded and issued against Robert Dewer, of Lucas-Street, Rotherhithe, in the County of Surrey, Smith, Machine-Maker, Dealer and Chapman...'[2]

1827 April 3rd. Died. of Great George Street age 70.[3]

1827 May 16th. Will. Mentions he was a smith and engineer in Great George Street under the firm of Robert Stott and Sons and the business to be carried on by my sons Ebenezer and Robert Dewer. Also mentions daughter Janet the wife of Joseph Bennett; daughter Elizabeth the wife of Joseph Matthews; daughter Agnes; and his wife Janet.

1837 October 27th. Death of his wife. 'at Old Street, in the 77th year of her age, Mrs. Janet Dewer, relict to the late Mr. Robert Dewer of Great George Street, Bermondsey.'[4]
