1896 Robert Brown Limited, of 107 Holm Street, was incorporated, with capital of £250,000, to take over and develop the business carried on by Robert Brown, blender and Scotch whisky merchant, at 101 to 107 Holm Street, and at 13 Wellington Street, 33 Hope Street and 87 Holm Street, Glasgow.[1]
