1892 Company established by Robert Beldam (1850-1903).

1914 Principals: Ernest Asplan Beldam, M.I.Mar.E., and William Robert Beldam.

1914 Manufacturers of Asbestos and Indiarubber. Specialities; Asbestos Packings and Jointings, Mechanical Rubber Goods and "A1 Lascar" packings and "Kymbala" Jointing.[1]

1920 The Company was wound up voluntarily, with a view to its reconstruction; a new Company, under the name of Beldam Asbestos Company Limited, was to be registered; the assets and undertaking were to be transferred to the new Company; W. Robert Beldam was chairman of the meeting[2]
