1922 Major, B.A. (Cantab.), Assoc.M.Inst.C.E., Civil Engineer, 45, Fenchurch Street, London, E.C.3, and Bettws-y-coed, North Wales. b. 1889; eldest s. of the Rt. Hon. D. Lloyd George, 0.M., M.P.; m. Roberta, d. of Sir Robert McAlpine, Bart. Ed. Portmadoc County School and Cambridge; Mechanical Science Tripos. Served time with S. Pearson and Son, Dover Harbour Extension. 1912-13—Assistant Surveyor with Port of London Authority. 19I3-4--Assistant Engineer with S. Pearson and Son on various undertakings in South and Central America. At present a Director of A. R. Brown, McFarlane and Co., Ltd., 45, Fenchurch Street, London, E.C.3. Head Office: 19, St. Vincent Place, Glasgow. War Services.—Commissioned September, 1914; France, December, 1915, with 19th Batt. The Welsh Regiment; transferred Royal Engineers, October. 1916. Demobilized May, 1919, with rank of Major.
