1879 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Edward Ratcliffe and James Ratcliffe, at Broughton Hall, in the county of Flint, as Dealers in Machinery, under the style or firm of Ratcliffe and Sons, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 31st day of December, 1877. All debts due to and by the late firm will be received and paid by the said Edward Ratcliff, who for the future will carry on the said business on his own account, and under the name or firm Edward Ratcliffe and Co...'[1]
