RHM, known more fully as Rank Hovis McDougall was a United Kingdom food business.

  • It owned a number of leading brands including:
    • Bisto gravy
    • Be-Ro flour
    • Hovis bread and flour
    • Mr Kipling cakes
    • Paxo stuffing
    • Sharwood's Indian, Chinese and SE Asian sauces
    • Mother's Pride bread
    • Cadbury's cakes (manufactured under licence from Cadbury Schweppes)
    • Atora shredded suet
    • Saxa salt
    • Cerebos salt
    • McDougalls flour and cake mixes
    • Robertson's jams
    • Frank Cooper's jams
    • Rombouts coffee
  • The company dated back to the merger in 1962 of flour millers Hovis, owner of Hovis and Be-Ro, and Joseph Rank.
  • Purchased by Tomkins plc in 1992, it was delisted from the London Stock Exchange for a period of 13 years until, under new management, the company was again listed on the LSE in July 2005.
  • In March 2007, RHM plc ceased to exist as the entire share capital was bought over by rival Premier Foods.
