Training: Armstrong Coll., Durham University. 1st Class B.O.T. Certificate. Career: Held several appointments as Mar. Engr.; Res. Engr. on Govt. Contracts in Scotland; 1915-20—Manager and latterly a Director of The Victoria Brass Foundry Co., Ltd., Edinburgh, etc.; Inventor of Improved Centrifugal Casting Machines.
