1966 The company was founded as Ulster Plant in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland where the research, development, and manufacturing of products continues today. The company pioneered the concept of mobile screening: taking the machines to the quarry face rather than the expensive process of moving the material to the machine.

1969 Powerscreen exported its first machine to Sweden

By the 1970s the Powerscreen name had been adopted.

1980s Reverse take-over of British Benzol plc

1987 The group was renamed Powerscreen International

1999 Powerscreen was acquired by New Terex Holdings and became part of the Materials Processing segment of Terex Corporation.

2009 Terex® Pegson and Powerscreen® products and services were united under the Powerscreen name.
