1899 Company dissolved. Adam Gibson. Wholesale Manufacturing Chemists and Druggists, North-East Thistle Street Lane, Edinburgh[1]

1919 Pinkerton, Gibson and Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to take over the business of wholesale and retail druggists and manufacturing chemists carried on under the same name at North-East Thistle Street Lane, Edinburgh.[2]

1965 The company was acquired by Glaxo Group for £65,000 in cash.[3]

1966 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[4]
