Pickerings of Globe Works, Stockton-on-Tees.
1854 Company established.
1876 Mr Pickering exhibited a direct-acting steam pump at the Philadelphia Exhibition, and also his patent hoist and patent differential pulley block which used by tho British Commission in lifting the heavy articles at the exhibition.
