1942 'The grandson of a farmer of Forest Bow, Mr. Percy Thomas Caffyn, chairman of directors and one of the founders of Caffyns, Ltd., the Sussex motor engineers, has died at an Eastbourne nursing home. For 40 years he was a local preacher, being a member of the Pevenseyroad Congregational Church. Eastbourne. He formerly resided at Heathlleld.'
