1855 Died. 'Death of Paul Measor, Esq.— The office of Postmaster in this city has become vacant the death of Paul Measor, Esq., which took place on Tuesday last. The deceased gentleman, who was seventy-eight years of age, had filled that important office for nearly half a century. He was most amiable and kind-hearted man, and was universally beloved and esteemed. the year 1828 he filled the office Sheriff of Exeter, and in 1830 that of chief magistrate.
