Paul Freedman B.Sc., A.M.I.E.E.,

c.1897 Born

Educated at the Grammar School, Stoke Newington, followed by Elect. Eng. Course at Queen Mary Coll. (then known as East London College), Univ. of London.

1916-26 Edison Swan Co., first as Research Worker, developed and manufactured "Pointolite" lamps; then Head of Physical Laboratory; finally Head of Physical and Chemical Laboratories.

1926-28 Physical Enginerr with Graham Amplion

1928-30 Consulting Engr., Celestion Ltd.

1930-33 Managing Director, radio valve co., later known as High Vacuum Valve Co.

1933-36 Consulting Engineer specialising in Thermionic Valves, Discharge Lamps, other Electronic Devices, Photometry and High Vacuum Technique generally. Over 40 patents in these and other fields.

1939 Research Engineer., Crompton Parkinson Ltd., Industrial Development Laboratories, 55 Britton Street, E.C.1.

c.1950 Died
