Career: Royal Navy; Midshipman during War; as Sub-Lieut., transferred to Eng. Branch 1922; left Navy 1929; joined Vosper 1931, Designer of Motor Torpedo Boats and other fast vessels, including high-speed Royal Barge and M.T.B. No. 102, the fastest warship in the British Navy.
