'...Liquidation by Arrangement or Composition with Creditors, instituted by Joseph Frith Smith, of 13, Netherthorpe-street, in Sheffield, in the county of York, carrying on business in copartnership with William Aaron Smith, of Sheffield aforesaid, William Edward Smith, of Sheffield aforesaid, William Bell Kersop, of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, in the county of the same town, Thomas Anderson the younger, of Newcastle-upon-Tyne aforesaid, and Robert Pattison, of Newcastle-upon-Tyne aforesaid, at 17(b), Meadow-street, in Sheffield aforesaid, and at No. 44, High Bridge, Newcastle-upon-Tyne aforesaid, as Bicycle Manufacturers and General Turners, under the style or firm of the North of England Bicycle Company, and the said Joseph Frith Smith heretofore carrying on business in partnership with the said William Aaron Smith, at 17(b), Meadowstreet, in Sheffield aforesaid, as Bicycle Manufacturers and General Turners, under the style or firm of W. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, William Bell Kirsop, Thomas Anderson the younger, and Robert Pattison, as Bicycle Manufacturers and Athletic Outfitters, at 44, High Bridge, in the city and county of Newcastle-upon-Tyne aforesaid, under the style or firm of the North of England Bicycle Company, and also as Bicycle Manufacturers and Athletic Outfitters, at 21, Northumberland-street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne aforesaid, under the style or firm of Kirsop and Co., was dissolved, as on the 31st day of December, 1884, by mutual consent...'[2]
