North Bar Tool Company of Banbury, Oxon.

Established in 1942 by Bill Brodey, who, with his business partner Ernest Thornitt, started to make torque wrenches, initially for use in assembling Rolls-Royce Merlin engines. Today the business is called Norbar Torque Tools Ltd [1]
