1962 Nitrovit Ltd was incorporated to acquire part of Ferens Brothers Ltd

1964 Acquired Buxted Chicken[2]. Then acquired 17 companies concerned with rearing of broiler chickens. Name changed to Allied Farm Foods.

1968 The name of Ferens Brothers was changed to Nitrovit Ltd[3]

1968 Associated British Foods bought the Buxted/Nitrovit Group[4]

1969 Imperial Group acquired Ross' poultry interests including Nitrovit Feed, Ross Breeding and Processing.

1977 Part of Imperial Foods

1982 Acquired by Hillsdown Holdings

1988 The Nitrovit feed mills were acquired by J. Bibby and Sons, adding to that company's agricultural products division.
