1915 Russell Wright of the company applied for and was granted a licence to make a high tension voltmeter (patented by Bauer of Germany) for use with X-Ray tubes[3]
1937 Voluntary liquidation[4]
1945 Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co acquired a large interest in the company, maker of X-ray apparatus and optical instruments[5]
1948 AEI merged the X-ray interests of Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co, Newton and Wright Ltd and the Victor X-Ray Corporation into the new company Newton Victor Ltd[6] [7].
