NEVILL HENRY EVERITT was educated at Harrow and Oxford University, and after leaving Oxford served a five years' apprenticeship with the Patent Shaft and Axletree Company at Wednesbury.

After having travelled round the world he joined in 1892 the board of directors of Messrs. Thomas Piggott and Company, manufacturers of welded steel pipes of large diameter.

In later years he became chairman and director of several companies and continued his business interests until his deaths on 21st June 1927, at the age of 63.

He became a Member of the Institution in 1887.
