A subsidiary company of Midland Metal Spinning Co Ltd.

1948 Private company.

1955 Midland Metal Spinning became part of Midland Aluminium.[1].

1961 Manufacturers of "Presto" pressure cooker and electrical cooking appliances. 150 employees. [2]

1974 Became part of Tube Investments.

1986 TI sold Russell Hobbs and Tower Housewares to Polly Peck.[3]

1991 When Polly Peck collapsed, Russell Hobbs was sold to Pifco.
