Lens grinding lathe by Andrea Frati, 2nd half of 18thC.
Hydraulic pump, invented c. 1785 by Carlo Castelli, who called it a ventilatore idraulico. Made in the workshop of the Museo di Fisica e Storia Naturale of Florence between 1793 and 1794. For more information, see here
