Mott, Hay and Anderson of Westminster, consulting engineers to the Sunderland Town Council.

1923 David Anderson became a partner in Mott and Hay

Designed Tyne Bridge, Newcastle.

1926 Prepared the designs for the New Wearmouth Bridge.[1]

1937 proposed Severn Bridge Scheme

After World War II the contract awarded for the construction of the Severn Road Bridge with Freeman Fox and Partners.[2]

Later became Mott MacDonald
