Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is a Japanese multinational electronics and electrical equipment manufacturing company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the core companies of Mitsubishi.

1921 The Corporation was established.

1982 They produced what was claimed to be the first light emitting diode (led) instrument panel for a car. It was fitted to the top of a Cordia model produced by Mitsubishi Motors.
