1925 They applied for the winding up of the British Anzani Engine Co. '...presented to the said Court by the Midland Motor Cylinder Company Limited, whose registered office is situate at Dartmouth-road Foundries, Smethwick...'[2]
1936 Birmid Industries founded; incorporated Birmingham Aluminium Castings Co and Midland Motor Cylinder Co and other companies[3].
1937 Cylinder founders. "Chromidium" Cylinder Castings. "Midcyl" Cylinder Castings.[4]
1963 Motor Show exhibitor. Castings.[5]
1980 Birmid Qualcast closed the North and East Works, bringing to an end virtually all of the Midland Motor Cylinder activities; one foundry remained making crankshafts[6]
