1827 Marriage settlement of Matthew Babington of Rothlay Temple, Leics, esquire, and Fanny Sykes of Swanland, Kingston upon Hull, spinster [1]

The Grange at Fowke Street was subsequently bought up by Matthew Babington, brother of Thomas Babington of Rothley Temple, who were in partnership together in the Leicester Bank with John Mansfield.
