1957 Joint venture with Walmsley (Bury) Ltd to combine resources on making winders; a jointly-owned company was formed British Winders Ltd; formation of a joint sales company[3]
1963 Agreement with Molins Machine Co to acquire their subsidiary Thrissell Engineering Co to be paid in shares which would give Molins 52 percent of the equity; name to be changed to Masson Scott Thrissell Engineering[4]
