Hold wholesale distributing and retail agencies for leading makes of cars and commercial vehicles, also re-tread tractor tyres. 1,300 employees.[2]

1963 Motor Show exhibitor. Showed Dormobile range.[3]

1964 Acquired G. E. Neville, Bedford and Vauxhall dealers[4]

1967 3 new "Dormobile" models available based on Bedford, B.M.C. and Volkswagen chassis (see advert)

1972 After several bids from other groups, Martin Walter Ltd accepted a take-over offer from Charrington, Gardner, Locket and Co[5]

1981 Put together with another Charringtons subsidiary as Chatfields-Martin Walter
