1964 Halifax Tool Co changed its name to Marshalls (Halifax) Ltd, a private company.

1972 Maker of aircraft ground support and airfield tractors; acquired Mercury Truck and Tractor and Mercury Airfield Equipment businesses from the Hestair Group[1]

1981 Incorporated as a public limited company: Marshalls Halifax PLC

1981 Marshalls (Halifax) was involved in concrete, quarrying and engineering; reported 15 percent decline in profits[2]

1988 David R. Marshall was chairman of Marshalls Halifax PLC; other directors were John D. Marshall, Keith F. Marshall, Andrew H. Marshall, Simeon J. Marshall, G. Brian Taylor[3]
