1824 'NOTICE. TRADESMEN and others are hereby informed, that the firm of Marriott and Son, Filemakers, Cross Smithfield, Sheffield, is composed only of myself and my Son, James Marriott, and that neither of us will be answerable for any Debts which Son, Alexander Marriott, may contract, whether in Reference to our Firm, or in the Names us, or either of us, the said Alexander Marriott not being in our Employ. Dated this 14th December, 1824. GEO. MARRIOTT.'[1]
