1989 Part of Geest.[1]

1990 Geest merged its fish processing activities with those of Associated Fisheries as Macfish[2]

1992 Both partners planned to sell their joint venture, Macfish, making a significant loss[3]

1996 Owned by the Albert Fisher Group who also own Forman Fish.[4]

1999 Macfish fish-processing operations at Fraserburgh and Peterhead, employing nearly 1,000 people.[5]
