1973 Bio Note [1]

M. L. Barker GIChemE, was educated at Lady Manners School, Bakewell, Derbyshire. He graduated in chemical engineering at Bradford University in 1966, and after 3 years with ICI Ltd, Plastics Division, joined the British Hydromechanics Research Association. At BHRA, he has worked mainly on the design of slurry and other types of solids pipelines, and also in other areas of applied fluid mechanics, particularly jet pumps.
