Ludgate Hill Railway Station
1864 The London, Chatham and Dover Railway opened a temporary station at Ludgate Hill in London.
1865 After delays due to the concerns of the City of London Corporation about the viaduct over Ludgate Hill, the permanent station was opened. Both the London, South Western Railway and the Great Northern Railway, having contributed to the costs of the LC&DR's extension, gained access to the station at Ludgate Hill.
