1883 A 13 mile line that was opened, having taken over the Carmarthenshire Railway. Seven miles of this line had gradients of 1 in 40. [1]

1908 The line is 12 miles in length, and is worked by John Waddell and Sons. [2]

1923 Became part of the Great Western Railway. [3]
