1864 Company formed

Built SS Ceres and SS Rainton and lost money on both

1869 Hercules Linton joined the company

1870 Bankruptcy. Andrew Leckie (age 46), George P. Wood (retired three and a half years ago) and John Munro (age 44).[1]
