1965 Rights issue and public placing of shares[1]. Garnham, Harris and Elton owned 37.3% of the company.

1969 Introduction of non-ferrous merchanting at the London and Yorkshire works under a new company, Landa Metals. Acquired Garnham, Harris and Elton (Overseas)) which was renamed Landa Metals (Overseas). Main company became a holding company[2]

1970 Esperanza Trade and Transport acquired the 36% of the shares in the company owned by IMI Group[3].
