1875 'NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned James Layfield and Thomas Calverley carrying on business at Burnley, in the County of Lancaster, Boiler Makers under the style or firm of "Layfield and Calverley," has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, and that all debts due to and owing by the said firm or co-partnership will be received and paid by the said Thomas Calverley who will henceforth carry on the said business on his own account. As witness our hands.[2]
