1894 Thomas Latham and Henry Clements (2): partnership dissolved by mutual consent [1]

Business was continued by Thomas Latham and Son.

1897 'LOCAL FAILURE. LATHAM AND SON, BOILER MAKERS, OF TURNBRIDGE. In the matter of Thomas Luke Latham and Charles David Latham, both residing at 36, Kaye-lane, Almondbury, and carrying on business together in co-partnership as boiler makers at Turnbridge Boiler Works, under the style or firm of Thomas Latham and Son. ..... The debtors attribute their failure to losses in connection with contracts for work done by them. The Official Receiver appends the following observations to the statement of affairs - "Thomas Luke Latham states that about six years ago he arranged to take over the business of a boilermaker, formerly carried on by Robert Metcalfe, at Turnbridge, Huddersfield, and to trade in partnership with one Henry Clements. Thomas Luke Latham had been, previous to Mr. Metcalfe's death, his foreman for many years. .....'[2]
