1917 The Larne Shipbuilding Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £30,000, to take over the business of the Larne Shipbuilding Co, Larne.[1]

1921 In March, the company went into voluntary liquidation.[2] Plant and machinery from the yard were auctioned off later in the year.[3]

1922 Directors: J. Johnson, C. G Olsen, A. C. Auchterlonie, W. Thomson, J. H. Sharpe.
