1948 The name of B. Laporte had been changed to Laporte Chemicals. A new hydrogen peroxide plant was to be built at Warrington[1]

1949 Agreed to acquire Hunt Brothers (Castleford) [2]

1952 Laporte Acids Ltd was building a new plant at Hunt Works[3]
