1886 The company was founded by Horatio Thomas Barrett Lambourne, to produce Spats, Rigid Braces, Buttons and Studs for the gentry. Initially had premises in Granville Street and Great Western Buildings, Livery Street.
1911 Moved to premises in Great Charles Street, Birmingham.
1922 British Industries Fair Advert for Hosiers' Jewellery and Sundries - Sock Suspenders, Garters, Armlets, Brace Ends, Tie Frames, Studs, Links, Tie Pins, Collar Pins, Advertising Novelties, Stamped and Pressed Metal Smallwares. (Stand No. E.40) [1]

The company expanded to include additional premises in Leominster but continued to be owned and run by the Lambourne family.
1981 The Great Hampton Works were sold to become part of the Arnold Wills Group.
