Keelavite Hydraulics
1958 The Keelavite Rotary Pumps and Motors company acquired the assets of the Keelavite Co. It was converted into a public company. The name was changed to Keelavite Hydraulics
A number of subsidiaries were established.
1961 Acquired Godiva Engineering Co, of Coventry, which specialised in mass production of small components using automatic machinery[1]
1963 Hydraulics industry was rapidly expanding; the company was expanding its range of products to take advantage of this demand. Subsidiaries were specialised on particular areas - Hydraulic Machinery Drives Ltd, Keelavite Components Ltd had achieved record sales; also Hydraulic Installations Ltd, Industrial Hydraulics Ltd, Keelavite Components trading as Godiva Engineering Co. Acquired M. W. Service Station Ltd, which occupied adjacent premises[2]
1969 Joseph Lucas Ltd acquired Keelavite Hydraulics[3]
