Justin Reginald Egerton (1873-1969) Founder, Director and Chairman of Egertons (Ipswich)

1873 September 9th. Born at Weston Rectory, nr. Norwich, the son of Charles Cadwallader Egerton and his wife Caroline.

Ed.: Bloxham School, 1882 to 1891; in 1892 at St. John's College, Qu'Appelle, Assiniboia, Canada.

1897 electrical engineering position in England, and later joined a car manufacturing firm

1900 drove all over England for Hovis Bread Flour Co

1901 started in the motor agency business in Ipswich

Worked for Botwoods

1911 Living at Malpas Cottage, Rushmere, N Ipswich: Justin Reginald Egerton (age 37 born Weston Longville, Norfolk), Motor Car Engineer and Proprietor of Garage - Employer. With his wife Margaret Ruby Egerton (age 23 born Ipswich) and their son Justin Cadwallader Egerton (age 3 born Rushmere). Three servants.[1]
