1956 Acquired by Blackburn and General Aircraft[1]

The company became Jowett Engineering Ltd

1960 Absorbed into Hawker Siddeley

1961 Automobile, aeronautical and general engineers. 200 employees.[2]

1979 Name changed to Hawker Siddeley Electric Motors Ltd; the principal business was export of electric motors and control gear.
