With his wife Rose Webber (age 33 born Roumania) and their children George Webber (age 12 born Manchester); Luise Webber (age 9 born Manchester); and Alfred Webber (age 5 born Manchester). 1. Obituary notice for George Julius Webber states he was a reader of English Law at University College, London until 1966. Attended Manchester Grammar School and read law at University College. Practised lay and one of the longest serving head of chambers. Chairman of the Jewish memorial Council for 27 years and vice-president of the London Board of Jewish Religious Education.[4]
