1841 Advertisement: 'T. M. FISHER, (by order of the assignees of Joseph Robinson, bankrupt), on Wednesday the 9th day of June, 1841, at the premises, Bateman's Buildings, Deansgate, Manchester: sale to commence punctually eleven o'clock in the forenoon: A CAPITAL 20-inch Double-geered SLIDE LATHE, with three face plates, compound slide rest, screw, cast-iron rack, polished wrought-iron back shaft, bed 36 feet long, top speed, and set of bearing headstocks for heavy work, by Batho 12-inch double-geered slide lathe with two face plates, compound slide rest, back screw and top speed; two very excellent double-geered 9-inch lathes, by Batho; wood and iron lathe bearers, benches, vices, drills, bits, files, turning tools, Upright drilling machine; superior calender for finishing silks, with two metal and one paper bowls, quite new; complete sets of patterns for calenderers' drying machines, shafting, and mill geering. Catalogues will be ready on Saturday the 5th June, and may be had on the premises; from Mr. PRICKET, iron merchant. Bridge-street. Presumably Robinson returned to business as Joseph Robinson and Co
