Joseph Reynolds (1768-1859)

1768 Born son of Richard Reynolds by his second marriage to Rebecca Gulson

1789 Richard Reynolds passed his interests in Ketley Iron Works to his sons William and Joseph.

1796 the interests of the Darby and Reynolds families in Coalbrookdale were separated, William and Joseph Reynolds taking charge of the Madeley Wood ironworks and the Ketley Iron Works.

1796 Joseph Reynolds was the managing partner of the Ketley Iron Works, Shropshire. He and his half brother William were sole partners.

1796 His son John Reynolds was born at Ketley

1803 After William died, his interests in the Ketley works passed to Joseph.
