The death has occurred of Mr. Joseph Facchino, aged 50. of Station Road. Knowle, a wellknown Midland businessman. Mr. Facchino Was a director of Facchino's Ltd., the biscuit firm, and also of Meddocream Ltd. and Mr. Whippy Ltd., icecream manufacturers.

A keen sportsman, Mr. Facchino was president of Birmingham Licensed Victuallers' Golfing Aasoclatlon. He was soccer enthusiast and wrote articles on aspects of racing pigeons for The Pigeon World. He was president of the Old Barstonians. He leaves a widow and a son and daughter.
