1880 June. Following the failure of the firm he was made personally bankrupt. Described as formerly trading as Haynes and Jefferis of the Angel Works, Coventry and now of 131 and 132 Watery Lane, Birmingham and he is residing at 10 Hertford Terrace, Coventry and is a Range, Knob and Bicycle Fittings Manufacturer.
