Jonathan Woodhouse (fl.1795-1822), of Overseal Cottage, Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
1803 Patent for "a new method of forming a cast-iron rail or plate"
1803 Erected a beam engine for the Grand Junction Canal at its Tring Ford Pumping Station.[1]
1804 Having successully tendered to build the Blisworth Tunnel with his brother John they were taken off the contract after encountering problems.
1809 Birth of son John Thomas Woodhouse, who was left an orphan at an early age.
